In Indian market, there are numerous site providing online bus ticket booking. Starting with popular names redBus, Paytm, MakeMyTrip, Abhibus, Railyatri, Yatra, Goibibo, etc.
Our favourite ones with redBus at first number and Paytm at second number. What makes redBus at first position, is the true valuable discount they provide even after so many years of launch having a strong hand on Indian travel business.
One or the other month, it comes with new offers. It's offers make strong impact with its third party payment gateway offer. As an example on current that i.e 20 Aug 2019, the code 'SPIRIT' will give you around 10% discount and if your traveling is much the, you can go with 'FREEDOM' code, it provides 15% cashback that can be used in next bus booking or any mobile recharge or hotel booking. But this cashback comes with a drawback that you can use only some percent of that wallet amount. So now coming back to our topic, once any of these site offer is applied, you can go for payment option as PAYPAL. It provide you around 50% off which is awesome. One of our example with redBus PayPal. That it was providing Flat 175 off. So our ticket was cost was around 550/-. Site offered me around 75/- then as PayPal so additional 175/-, so final cost of ticket is 300/-. So you can see how much saving you can do. So our first priority for bus ticket booking goes with redBus.

Now coming to Paytm. In some years ago, they were just awesome providing a flat cashback. They never dealed with discount. They stick to cashback only. So this is again a plus point for redbus. So as Paytm money can be used many else places, so it doesn't make much difference now. Now some years before, they used to provide Flat 150 cashback and like so Flat 333/- for riding together. But now they have stick to only 5% upto 150, 8% upto 200, 3% etc. A very low ranging percent which in our point of view, taking away their customers. And also the minimum amount has been increased to min 1000/-, 2000/-. So they have moved on the option from lower class middle people to high rich classes as the other big giants like MakeMyTrip and Yatra. They also have high range min values. So Paytm was a good option but not now.

Other namely giants MakeMyTrip and Yatra are in the market of Tourism and hotel booking, so we guess they are not much interested in providing low class range offers to middle class people. So in our point of view, they are not standing in market of redbus and Paytm.

Another famous operator from South India is Abhibus. They too provide offer similar same as to redbus but they focus on providing on cashback and that cashback redeemption is very much low, so in out point of view, they also not have a chance to stand.

There is one another option Railyatri. Having started with rail i.e train but now onto bus booking also. It has a superb offer for New User. As of today's date it is providing Flat 110/- for new user which is a great offer.
